Whatever I Feel Like Writing About

Having trouble with your iPod Nano?

If it’s turning on and it’s not playing, just hold the middle circle button and Menu at the same time for 6 seconds until it resets, then press the play button to turn it on as usual and it’ll work.

This worked for my 8GB Ipod Nano.

Disclaimer: Worked for me, I don’t take any responsibility on what happens to yours.

Nobody’s going to hit a home run every single time. For that reason, we need to take steps towards hitting our short term goals while at the same time working for our long term goals

In the long run, the most effective way to make long term, scalable cash is to create a business that requires little maintenance.

I randomly decided to watch Initial D and found one of my favorite episodes. I learned a lot and was able to get a lot of new angles that I wasn’t able to understand before, having watched it now that I’m older. This is why people need to constantly be learning. When you watch something old, you can see a lot of different things.

Summary:

- Keisuke explains to this girl that likes him that he used to be irritable and bored with everything, he had no goals and caused a lot of problems.
- Ryosuke takes Keisuke to Akagi and races at the limit, leading Keisuke to think that Ryosuke was going to do a double suicide, but in fact was just really good at racing. This gives Keisuke an outlet for his boredom and irratability — racing.
- Keisuke used to have no goals, but now he does (winning at races, getting better).
- Keisuke tells the girl he can’t date because he has to give Project D his everything. He can’t split up his attention in order to do his best.

- Takumi’s dad explains to his friend that Takumi is chasing his “other self” in the WRX vs the 86. The WRX is better than the 86 and every time Takumi learns a new line in the 86, the WRX learns that line as well. It opens up his eyes to new techniques and expands his thinking.

So, what I take from this anime is this:

- Having a goal will reduce boredom and irritability.
- When you take another perspective and look into it, you learn a lot of new things and gain stronger.
- Sometimes you need to put all your effort into something to get the maximum results.

Everyone just wants:

- To drive nice cars.
- To wear nice clothes.
- To live in a nice home.
- To eat good food.
- To be able to go on vacations when they please.
- To spend time with their friends and family.

- To do whatever they want to do, whenever they want to do it.

The message here is simple, but it’s pretty clear. Most of what we do is to aim towards doing what we want to do, whenever we want to do it. This is why people want to be rich and famous, and why a lot of people migrate to other places — it’s because they can’t do what they want to do, when they want to do it.

I like how he takes control of everything. I think he should’ve like, leaked a little of his money away just so people could have enough, but enough that he can do everything.

But, I also like how he’s able to go from broke to rich at any time, that’s the fundamental of every smart, hard working person — you just need to arbitrage. That’s business. Arbitrage. It’s something you can’t scale with a job.
