Do you have what it takes to be a perfect person?
Everyone has their own definitions of what it is to be perfect, but what I’m talking about is personality-wise.
Although I am far from perfect, what I percieve to be the “best” characteristics of someone’s personality are a combination of traits.
The more of these traits someone has, the closer to perfection they get.
1) Adaptability
For lack of a better word, I believe that one’s perspective of things is constantly changing. Adaptability to me means you are able to accept when you are wrong, and change yourself for the better. This I believe is one of the most important traits necessary in a strong personality, the ability to change who you are.
2) Honor, Morality, Sense of Justice
I place these in one category because I believe they are similar. I believe that someone who has a good personality pays their dues, and tries to focus on what it is that is deemed “right”, but is not limited to it. There are grey areas to everything, and you never want to be far towards one side. The middle ground is perfect because balance is crucial in everything that we do.
3) Perseverance, Passion
One who is passionate perseveres, and one with perseverance normally has passion. Having the ability to go on and motivate yourself is a trait that is something that separates an average person from an extraordinary one.
4) Optimistic, but Realistic
I believe that a perfect person generally tends to look at the good side of things, they push themselves to see the better and do it so much so that they always believe that there may be good in everything, but isn’t naive as to believe that there has to be good in everything.
5) Good listening skills
A perfect person has to be able to listen to people well, and understand a whole lot about what’s going on when people are talking. Listening to people shows respect, which builds trust.
I’m sure there are a lot more, and feel free to chime in with the comments if you feel like I’ve missed something, because I know I have.
