Don’t be fooled, “buying American” isn’t as unpatriotic as you think

It’s just a marketing gimmick.

There’s an autoblog article here that discusses how some buyers are still swayed by the “buy American” marketing gimmick.

Foreign auto companies contribute too.

For the consumer, to buy American is an illusion. People think that they are supporting the economy, their own country when the fact is more and more, American car companies are turning to other countries for production, and foreign car companies such as Toyota are building more and more plants in America.

Make your own decision.

The fact is, we should buy what we like. Whether it be because of reliability, price, interior or exterior reasons, to buy American solely to buy American is ignorance.
